About the Role

THIS JOB IS NOT REMOTE. The candidate must be in Charlotte.

This role is for an experiential boutique marketing, advertising, and PR agency with offices across the US. The agency will be opening a Charlotte office in January 2023!

The challenge:

Our Public Relations practice is exploding, and we need smart, motivated, creative people to help us continue to excel and grow. On a regular basis you will have account management, media relations and reporting responsibilities:

Account Management
Participating in weekly status calls with the client
Participating in monthly national PR calls
Preparing monthly media monitoring recaps, including media values and impressions compiling information from Critical Mention and Cision Tracking

Media Relations
Learning and executing to strategy
Creating & issuing press materials including press releases, media alerts, press kits, etc.
Establishing media lists using Cision
Building and maintaining relationships with key media constituents
Identifying news angles to secure press for new products, local partnerships, promotions, store openings, etc.
Handling press drops by hand-delivering client product to media across the market
Securing and facilitating media interviews, segments, video/photoshoots, etc.
